26 year old Hispanic Soul Singer Francisco Javier Bautista Jr,also known as "Frankie J," born on December 7,1979 in Tijuana, Mexico. He was only two when his Uncle took him and his siblings across the border to what they call the "land of oportunity". They moved to San Diego, California were he grew up with his brother Louie and two sisters Adriana and Ana. Frankie's parents Francisco and Alicia Bautista say "when Frankie was six they would give him a sombrero and he would throw it in the air and start moonwalking just like Michael Jackson would in his Billie Jean video. Frankie isnt the only musically talented Bautista; his father was the lead singer of a band,and his grandfather played the violin for his local church. Frankie attended school in a nearby town called Shorewood, he started writting songs when he was in high school,and entering talent shows to do what he loves the most;which is to say ENTERTAIN PEOPLE. At the age of 15 he was introduced to a CEO who offered him a record deal. He recorded a few songs,and found out that "Early deal didnt lead to fame and fortune and to read a contract before you sign it". After high school he heard about an oppurtunity to audition for a band called the Kumbia Kings. The audition took place in Texas,he was selected. After being in a band for four years he wanted to pursue a solo career,knowing it was risky he took the chance. He has now made two solo albums,"Whats A Man To Do?" was his first album released in 2003,which was inspired by his failed relationship with Grace,the mother of his 4 year old son Frankie Jr. His 2005 release "The One" dedicated to his grandfather Feliciano Bautista who died October 10,2004. He now has his grandfathers violin and says "Your violin is safe with me,your still with me in spirit and in my heart.I love you and miss you very much and,I know you're watching me from above." Frankie adores his grandparents very much,beside being their favorite grandson they were two of the few people who inspired him to persue his goals and dreams,one of them being music. Frankie being the workaholic he is, hes not home alot but when he is he says "i loves to take Lil Frankie with with me to the studio,he has shown early interest in music,he's always wanting to play the piano." They have even recorded a song together "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". For Frankie writing songs is an everyday thing,when he writes he bases his lyrics on his personal experiences.
